On wednesday the 22nd of february 2012, the ladies A team beat Keele university ladies in their BUCS trophy semi final match in Dundee.
The result was: Dundee 134: 79 Keele
The individual weapon breakdown was; Sabre 45:27, Epee 45:28 and Foil 44:24

Today DUFC ladies team had a quarter final BUCS match against Edinburgh B team
DUFC ladies won 135:79 and are now through to the semi finals for the BUCS trophy!

On wednesday the 30th DUFC Ladies A team beat st.Andrews ladies in the last 16 of the BUCS trophy: DUFC Ladies are now through to the Quarter finals!

Welldone to all who fenced, especially Mhairi De Sainte Croix who fenced all 3 weapons for the team.
On Wednesday the 9th of november, the DUFC Ladies 1st team had a BUCS trophy knockout match against Durham B team.
DUFC Ladies won 130-73 qualifying us to the next round

The weekend of the 29th-30th of october was BUCS qualifiers, a competition open to the top 6 ranked Scottish teams in the Scottish conference (Men’s and Women’s) from last years qualifiers, and is to qualify for knockouts next year. DUFC entered 2 teams; a Women’s A team and a Women’s B team. Both teams performed really well, especially the B team as for 3 out of 4 of them, it was their first ever team match.
The results were as follows;
Women’s A team:
132-111 against Aberdeen
111-122 against Glasgow
123-117 against St. Andrews
135-107 against Edinburgh B
135-50 against Dundee B
Overall position at qualifiers for the A team was 1st out of the 6 teams entered, qualifying them for championship knockouts next year.
Women’s B team:
90-135 against Aberdeen
61-135 against Glasgow
50-135 against Dundee A
74-135 against St.Andrews
91-135 against Edinburgh
Overall position for the B team was 6th, however they all fenced really well and thouroughly enjoyed the weekend.
