1. Why Fencing?

It’s a sport that test’s you mentally, physically and tactfully, but suitable for people of all shapes and sizes!

2. Is it dangerous?

Absolutely not, we will teach you how to control the weapon properly and we provide approved protective gear to get you started.

3. Do I have to buy my own kit?

No the club can lend everything to you to get started, however we do have a limited amount of full sets! If you are serious about the sport and want to compete we suggest you get your own! We can advise you on what you should be looking at if you ever need help.

5. Can left handers fence?

YES! in fact, lefties in general have an advantage as fencers! We also have kit to get you started too!

6. What are the benefits of fencing?

Fencing gets you moving! It seriously improves fitness, flexibility, and speed. Fencing is also a very much mental sport too, you have to use your head! It’s a sport you can do whatever age, once you start you never have to stop!
